CTeL is excited to announce that it is now accepting applications for both its CTeL Legal Fellow (law school enrollment required) and CTeL Policy Fellow (undergraduate enrollment required) programs. The CTeL fellows will have the unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience on legal and regulatory issues related to telehealth. This is a chance for young professionals to interact with leaders in the telehealth community, while being exposed to evolving legal and policy issues.
The Center for Telehealth and E-Health Law Legal Fellowship Program
A non-profit organization – created in 1995 to provide legal and regulatory expert advice to the telehealth community – is in search of a part-time Legal Fellow for the fall semester, starting in September 2010. The Legal Fellow will be selected from a pool of applicants who have already completed their second year of legal study at an accredited law school. A qualified applicant will possess excellent research, writing and communication skills. The Legal Fellow will be responsible for researching legal and regulatory state and federal law as it pertains to telehealth, as well as drafting appropriate analytical summaries of the gathered information. The applicant must be available to work 20 hours per week during regular business hours, in person at the non-profit’s Washington, D.C. based office. This is an unpaid legal fellowship program. The Center for Telehealth and E-Health Law Policy Fellow
A non-profit organization – created in 1995 to provide legal and regulatory expert advice to the telehealth community – is in search of a part-time Policy Fellow for the fall semester, starting in September 2010. The Policy Fellow will be selected from a pool of applicants who have already completed their junior level course work or first semester of graduate study at an accredited university or college. A qualified applicant will possess excellent research, writing and communication skills. The Policy Fellow will be responsible for researching breaking news and policy events, drafting a white paper on key telehealth issues, attending congressional hearings and policy forums, and drafting correspondence to congressional offices and federal agencies on the behalf of the non-profit. The applicant must be available to work 20 hours per week during regular business hours at the non-profit’s Washington, D.C. based office. The non-profit welcomes applications from students seeking academic credit from this program. This is an unpaid fellowship. Application Deadline August 30, 2010.
